This dress code will be enforced at camp. We appreciate your cooperation!
If requested, medications will be stored with our Medical Team during camp and medicines will be dispensed by that team as prescribed or indicated by parents.
The registration cost includes all lodging, travel, meals, and camp fees from the moment the campers arrive until the time they depart. Extra money is not required or needed. Campers/parents are responsible for supplying transportation and all items on the camp packing list. All other needed materials will be supplied during camp.
All necessary food and snacks are provided for the students. There is no need for your camper to bring their own food.
The Camp Freedom Kitchen Team tries very hard to be a food allergy friendly camp. Because of the number of campers attending camp, we cannot promise an allergen free environment. We will notify the Kitchen Team of any food allergies as listed in your child’s registration.
Before beginning the registration process, you will need to determine if you are in need of financial aid for your camper(s) to attend camp. If you this is the case, please go to our Financial Aid section to learn more. Scholarships are limited and we cannot guarantee aid, but we invite you to submit a form.
Our primary source of communication will come via text message and possible some e-mail. You will receive a confirmation email once your student has successfully registered for camp and texts will be send leading up to camp.
Small group and dorm assignments are by gender and age. We will use the information collected as part of the registration process to help determine small group and dorm assignments. This may also include roommate requests and school information. Our goal is for every student to be in a group with a friend.
The Camp Freedom schedule keeps students around their small groups and friends all day long. Our leaders are also always around to keep students connected as much as possible.
Camp Freedom small group leaders have a ratio of at least 1 leader for every 8 students. Leaders will be responsible for guiding and taking care of 8-12 students through the week of camp.
For sleeping arrangements, dorms will be gender-specific and each dorm will be supervised by our small group leaders. No one shares beds as dorms are comprised of bunk beds for individual sleeping.
Students will not be allowed to arrive late or leave early. Students will depart on the last day and parents will pick up their students at the location they dropped them off.
You will pick up your student from Pfrimmer’s Chapel at 11am on June 29th. Our team will communicate via e-mail if this changes.
